Characters
The main character is green knitted plushie with a cute appearance who is in some kind of relation ship with another The main green plushie immediately tries to rush to the aid of his love which shows us how close these tow are with him not even waiting a second before he attempts to jump to her.  even risking his own life because he is slowly unravelling as he attempts to make it to her. It is also clear as he approaches that she cares about him just as much going as far to close the door so he cant unravel himself any more then he has. he full unravels him self to the last string to save her anc he succeeds giving his life in order to save her.



Locations
The film starts in a Japanese style house with the classic windows and even the water dropping mechanism made out of bamboo giving us a clear idea of where the film is set. The main focus of most of the scenes is the water hole where the fox is drowning.





cinematography
The use of the dolly zoom at the start when the fox falls into the water is a great use of the camera as it brings you into the world as if these are real characters instead of these plushies. The focus on the nail before he falls allows the viewer to see the problem before it actually happens and allows the suspense to build up without the characters knowing.Lots of close ups of the characters faces giving us clear shows of emotion characterising the plushies more which helps with the emotional connection that we can have with these two.

Sound design-
The characters do not speak English they appear to make verbal noises like squawks in order to communicate. The music very clearly plays a huge part with the score changing when certain events happen like the fall into the water the music matched with the zoom in order to add some suspense. With the score rising at the ned when she is  carrying his body back to sew it back together.
