Flying eggs
Story- The film starts off with the runner who has been clearly running for a while due to the sweat around his neck and the sweat dripping from his brow. This is to set up a relatable feeling of when tired or exhausted like you get from exercise we can become more angry or quick to rage then we normamly would. On his run passing a row of flat windows a egg lands near his feet. The runner becomes almost instantly engraged by this and starts shouting up at the windows and almost threatning the egg thrower. Some passerbys comment on how it would is just a child and shouldnt be too angry but the runner seems to be more angry and go's as far as to get acsess into the flat and start knocking on the actual door of the flat. The child lets him and go's to hide behind a pillow. The runner calms down almost immedialty realising that it was just a child. After a while of them talking the mother walks in holding a pair of scissors in an agressive manor even as the runner tries to calm the situation. On his way out the runner spots something suspicous in one the doors to find 4 children tied up to the bed. The mother calls what must of been the farther as a huge man steps through the door and try's to subdue the runner. The runner fights him off and gestures to the child to make a run for it and the two of them sprint out of the flat with the runner calling the police.
The characters- We are introduced to the runner as our first character as we see him on his run dripping sweat as he takes a breather. When the eggs are first thrown we see that the runner is confrontational and immediate responds to the eggs with aggression and aggressive knocking on the flat door. However as we see the situation inside the flat we see that once he knows the entire sitauation he is quite calm and speaks to the child wanting to know where the mother is obsualy worried for him. We also see that he is quite brave even managing to rescue the main child. The child on the other hand is shy and for good reason being chained up like that it is clear that he threw the eggs to get somebodys attention which shows us the child is inteligent.
The sound design- Most of the sound design is the music used either to introduce a charcater like the runner or it is used to change how you feel about a scene whether the scene should make you feel tense or relived.
Cinemtaography- Most of the shots at the start are simple long shots of the runner it is towards the end that we start to get some more intrestign shots like the closeups of the runner as he reailses what is happening to the children
